Candidates must fulfill the following conditions as per G.O (Ms). No.104, Health and Family Welfare (L1) Department, dated 28.03.2023:
Educational Qualification
- Passed Plus Two (12th) with Biology or Botany and Zoology.
- Passed Tamil language as a subject at the SSLC level.
- Possess a Two-year Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) / Health Inspector / Sanitary Inspector Course Certificate from the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
- One-year course holders (under one-time relaxation) from recognized institutions are also eligible.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years (as on 01 July 2025)
- Maximum Age: No limit (as a one-time measure)
- Age concessions apply to Ex-servicemen as per the Tamil Nadu Government Servants Act, 2016.
Selection Process
The selection for TN MRB Health Inspector 2025 will be conducted purely based on Computer-Based Test (CBT) performance. There will be no oral test or interview.
- Tamil Language Eligibility Test (SSLC level – 50 marks, 1 hour)
- Minimum qualifying marks: 40%.
- Marks not counted for ranking.
- Subject Paper CBT (100 marks, 2 hours)
