|---|---|---|---|
| General | 40% | 40% | 48% |
| OBC | 35% | 35% | 45% |

What After Kerala SET Result 2026?
For candidates who have qualified, the next important step is to follow the instructions related to the Kerala SET Eligibility Certificate.
The SET qualification is relevant for candidates seeking Higher Secondary School Teacher and Non-Vocational Teacher opportunities in Kerala. However, candidates must apply separately whenever suitable teaching vacancies are announced and meet the conditions mentioned in the respective recruitment notification.
Kerala SET Eligibility Certificate
Candidates who qualify for the examination are eligible for the SET certificate issued by the LBS Centre. This certificate serves as proof of their qualification and may be required during relevant teaching recruitment processes.
Candidates should carefully follow the official instructions regarding the certificate application and issuance process.
The available examination information also mentions a late fee for delayed certificate applications. Applications made after one year from the result publication date may attract a late fee of ₹500 for the next one-year period, with an additional ₹250 for each subsequent year. Candidates should confirm the applicable fee and procedure through the official instructions before applying.
What Should Qualified Candidates Do Now?
Candidates who have cleared the examination should not ignore the certificate-related formalities. They should:
- Download and save the result scorecard.
- Verify their personal and examination details.
- Follow the official instructions for the SET certificate.
- Keep the required documents ready.
- Check future teaching recruitment notifications.
- Read the eligibility conditions before applying for any vacancy.
What If You Did Not Qualify?
Candidates who could not secure the required marks can use the scorecard to review their performance. Rather than getting discouraged, they should identify the areas where improvement is needed.
For the next attempt, candidates can give particular attention to Paper I, strengthen their subject knowledge for Paper II and practise previous-year question papers. Regular revision and better time management can also help improve performance.
